Sequester Walkthrough

Sequester is an adventure game that puts you in the role of a young boy tasked with saving his deceased sister from Limbo. This platform game features colorful graphics, a gripping storyline, simple keyboard controls, and multisided stages.

In terms of gameplay, the goal of Sequester is to reach the door on each level. The game starts with three prologue stages and little explanation. The controls are easy to figure out, but some plays could become frustrated by the lack of explanation or instruction, so I will give a brief explanation here. The arrow keys are used to control your character. Your objective is to reach the door at the end of the stage, then press the down arrow key to advance to the next. Your progress is saved on the main levels of the game after you have completed the prologue, so you can continue from where you left off the next time that you play. The prologue can be skipped by selecting the option in the pause menu, but I advise you to play through the three stages to get the gist of how this adventure game is played.

At first glance, Sequester is just another platforming adventure game. What makes Sequester unique, however, is its multisided stages. Walking, jumping, or falling past the edges of the stage will cause the level to rotate, and you will find yourself on another plane of the stage (a different face of the "cube" that each stage takes place on). This means that if you cannot jump high enough to make it over a pit or surmount a hazard, then you can go around the back way!

The initial levels of Sequester are rather simple with only a few spikes to avoid. As you progress, however, you will encounter a variety of hostile spirits that do not take kindly to your presence in Limbo. Since you do not have weapons in this adventure game, your only chance of survival is to outrun them. Fortunately for you, the spirits do not chase you past the edges of the screen, so you will escape if you make the level rotate.

Sequester is a thrilling and addictive platform game that will keep you playing until the end. Bravely journey into the unknown in this dream of an adventure game!
